  • The right hand is located above the sound hole.
  • The arm is free and moves up to the elbow level. The wrist must not be clamped.
  • An acoustic guitar with metal strings is usually played with a pick.
  • It is convenient to create a rhythm when playing chords, as well as when playing a melody on different strings.
  • The pick is held over the strings between the thumb and the index finger.
  • The acoustic guitar sound can also be produced playing using fingers of the right hand.

Such a sound production is suitable for playing the guitar in a fingerpicking style, as well as for playing multiple notes in a chord at the same time.
